Dan and I were so hoping to close on the fixer-upper tomorrow, but that is definitely not going to happen. Our mortgage officer (is officer the right term?) just received all the signed paperwork from the seller today.
Sigh.
It only took our realtor asking 3 times today to get them to send the paperwork over to us.
Don’t they want this house off their books? You’d think so…
So the mortgage paperwork is at the underwriter’s desk, and hopefully, we hear we’re approved tomorrow. Then the sellers need 3-5 days to review the paperwork and set a close date. I’ve been pushing pretty hard this far, so I’ll have to try to get then to set a close date quicker.
Next Friday! That’s my goal…to be homeowners one week from today.
If you wanted to pray that it goes through quickly, that would be nice. We’re praying for patience and a good attitude, which you know means were just asking for a hard time. 
We want God’s will and timing though…even when it’s hard.
