Dan and I participated in the annual chili cook-off at our church this past Sunday. Here’s our entry:
We named it after our pooch, General George Cotton of Gasparilla. An appropriate name, I think.
Our chili is a beef and sausage chili made with authentic Mexican ground chilis. I’d love to tell you which ones, but I can’t read the packages. The only one I know for sure is ancho chili powder. It is the most flavorful chili I’ve ever made.
