A Shift in Priorities Here at Flawed yet Functional

February 15, 2019 by Emily Leave a Comment

Welcome to Flawed yet Functional! Instead of offering the latest thoughts I have on health or a new DIY project or recipe, I have a bit of an announcement today. Writing and maintaining this blog gives me great joy. I really love every aspect of being a blogger: writing, photography, editing, formatting, promoting, connecting with readers, etc. As the list of “To Dos” gets longer and longer, I need to refocus a bit to be able to offer the same quality of content. Today I’d like to share my newest addition to the blog, the Flawed yet Functional Weekly News and a refocus of priorities. Click through to learn more!

FyF Weekly News

Many of you may not have a clue how often I write, and that’s totally fine! For the last 15 months, I have posted 3 posts a week, but as I work to incorporate items of value for you all, I need to post less often.

Currently, new posts come out on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Starting next week, there will be two new posts every week on Monday and Wednesday.

Why the Change?

Is one less post really that big of a deal, you might wonder? Well, actually I’ll likely be working the same amount, but I’m replacing the last post of the week with an email newsletter.

I’m super excited to be ACTUALLY communicating with my email list. If you’ve already signed up and wondered why you didn’t hear anything, well that’s because I hadn’t quite figured out how to actually use the email system. Ha!

So if you are signed up for the Flawed yet Functional weekly newsletter, you will see three posts from me each week! The third post will be in the form of a newsletter.

Flawed yet Functional Weekly News

The FyF Weekly News is just that…weekly and news about what’s going on at Flawed yet Functional! The weekly newsletter will catch you up on recent posts, offer new insights, and have a personal update from me.

You will not get bombarded with emails. I actually hate pushy bloggers just as much as you do! There may be an occasional second email per week if I publish a new freebie. Other than that, one email per week. That’s it.
